Goldfazer
Hi, I've bought the Mrs a nice '07 Focus 1.6D Ghia estate and want to make a decent job of wiring a dashcam. so I guess the 2 questions are: How to hide the power cable from the rear view mirror area to the dash Where to connect to a suitably fused switched live or any spare fusebox connection that's easy to get to. Cheers.

Goldfazer
Great, thanks. Pretty much the same as my Passat. IIRC there are 2 different size fuses - what size piggyback do I need?
Stoney871
All the fuses in the footwell box are mini blade type. I have a guide here that you may find useful- http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/tutorials/article/307-fitting-a-spare-ignition-switched-12v-socket-to-a-mk2-focus/ if you are at all interested, I make the piggyback wiring kit myself for £15, I've done at least a half dozen for Club members with no dramas and the cables can be tailored to suit various needs/fitting locations.
