Haynes Manual Or Similar

Featured Replies

I have looked for a haynes manual for the mk3.5 and cant find one. Guess its to new. I have the 1.5t petrol and was wondering if there is a similar book or guide for faults that i might be able to get or just little bits to do to the car.

Hi Adam,

The Haynes manual for the Mk3 focus will have references where applicable; to the mk3.5 inside the manual as the wiring and everything is the same on facelift models.

My Haynes manual has a mk2 focus on the cover but it also covers mk2.5 inside pages.

Yeah was just wondering about the 1.5t vs 1.6t as have heard they are different as well ie intercooler and some other bits.

I reckon they would be mate,

I'm guessing the 1.6T is only on facelift ?

I can ask Haynes directly via Twitter if the 1.5T and 1.6T is coverd by the mk3 focus manual id you like?

Just to note aswell,

The Haynes will show all wiring and how to remove everything but won't show dimensions of intercooler or that.

If will give best detail out there in regards to dissecting the car without breaking anything.

I'd been lost without mine.

1.5t is on facelift yeah ill ask on twitter. Some people say different cylinder size some say different piston, then other changes apparently water cooled intercooler and redesigned turbo.

The main reason was for the engine I wanted the manual.

Engine size has been reduced by a shorter stroke , same bore and pistons

In addition to the above facts, the 1.5 is a direct derivative of the 1.6 - ensuring sales to & comply with, favourable tax rates in Chinese markets for engines under 1.6

Lenny, sorry to be a pain an off topic but I cant PM you? don't suppose you remember us talking about timing belts and waterpumps, you mentioned there was another seal that's worth replacing whilst they are in there, I don't suppose you remember which one it was?

Hi mate,

I do remember that now you mention yeah,

the seal is a small oil seal mine is leaking that's why Ford told me it's best to have it replaced during timing belt change as it's same labour cost to access

I'll check info from Ford regarding the exact name of the seal think they said it cost 1.95 or somthing

I'll get info shortly
