nessglen44
I'm a new member with a new Titanium x 1.5 Estate P/S and rather nervous about using the park assist system. Would be glad of any advice.
Pete14tc
Hi George, I have a Mk3 Focus with park Assist and must admit was quite sceptical the first time it was used but without a doubt it works very well. On one occasion I switched it on and it parked perfectly in a space which I thought would be challenging manually, give it a try.
alexp999
You don't have to use it if you don't want to. I had a 2012 Focus with it for 2 years and my last Focus for a year had it, but I never used it on either. Didn't trust it not to curb my alloys, lol.
Enduser
I too was very sceptical about it so I went to a road without any passing traffic to try it. It worked fine, although I have not used it in 'anger' yet. It is quite unnerving to use, although as you have control of the clutch and accelorator, so you in control all the time. iantt
Theres a subtle flaw to to park assist, esp if it recognises a very small space it thinks your car will fit. It may be able to fit in when's you clearly cant do the manouvere. But try getting out again afterwards. Lol
