Focus Mk 2.5 Washer Jets

Featured Replies

as title I have jumped in feet first  and bought a set of panther black none heated washer jets with out looking at my current ones doh . Opened my bonnet to fit the new jets to discover that the current ones are heated. So my question is is there any way I can make the none heated ones heated some how or can I just run the none heated ones with out any trouble.

cheers for any help/advice bazz

you can just use them without heat just leave wires disconnected

but they will freeze in winter

thanks for the reply dezwez was hoping that I could just run them as they are but wasn't to sure if any moisture would get in to the plug and couse me any problems

You could just tape the plugs for now. I sorted a forum discount for about 15 quid, where you can get oem heated jets from a seller in China if you want the full deal

cheers jeebowhite I assume when you say tape the plugs you mean the plugs that the heater bit on the jets plugs into

Yeah just wrap them up to prevent moisture

have they gone up that much ? i remember when i bought heated mk3 ones they where about £3 - £4

If you buy them in the UK it's 30 quid a pair these days or even 20 quid for one. Which is why the deal with Kevin works very well.
