Your radio is not an original Focus MK2 radio. This type of radio is only factory fitted into the Fiesta MK6.5/Fusion MK1 and the C-max MK1.5. This type of radio is a GEN 2 Sony radio which is based on the old (1st generation) Bluetooth/Voicecontrol system.

To retrofit the Bluetooth/Voicecontrol system on this type of radio you will need the following parts:

* Bluetooth/Voicecontrol retrofit wiring loom. Part number 6S6J-14C007-AA. Finis number 1467152. Price €184,96.

* Bluetooth/Voicecontrol module with English language. Part number 7M5T-19G488-A* (the * can be any letter). For example Finis 1510863. Price €276,01.

* Radio remote stalk with VOICE button. Past number 3M5T-14K147-BE. Finis number 1318965. Price €123,76.

* Microphone. Part number 4M5T-19A391-AA. Finis number 1252666. Price €56,16

* Large model interior light frame with mounting hole for the microphone. Part number 4M51-A045B54-DB34X1. Finis number 1681894. Price €46,02.

* Mounting plate for the large model interior frame. Part number 4M51-519K22-AA. Finis number 1535265. Price €10,13.

* Bluetooth/Voicecontrol module mounting bracket. Part number 4M5T-14B507-AB. Finis number 1353218. Price €12,15.

* Mounting screws for the mounting bracket.

Ford also offered a complete Bluetooth/Voicecontrol retrofit kit which contained all needed parts. However the English language retrofit kit is no longer available. Currently there are only German, French, Spanish, Italian and Portugese kits available. A complete retrofit kit costs €556,99.

Parts for the 1st generation Bluetooth/Voicecontrol system are really expensive. Since the system is out of production the prices are still rising every year. Used parts of this system are rare and also expensive. Back in the days very few people ordered the (expensive) Bluetooth/Voicecontrol option on the Focus MK2.

In my opinion it is not worth both the money and effort to install this system. Ford stopped the support for this system Years ago. The list of supported phones is very short and only contains very old phone models. New phones may work correct but they can also have compatibility issues. A decent aftermarket Bluetooth system will be a lot cheaper and have better functionality.

Hello Mr. wilco,

I hope you had a good Christmas and wise you a happy new year, Sorry for taking long to reply but i checked if i find any of these parts you told me in my country and i could not find any, then i checked in scrap yards in UK but as you told me its not worth it money wise so i decided to make a decent aftermarket bluetooth system.

Thanks for your help.

Mark.
