B-Max Rear Bulb Replacement

Featured Replies

I thought it easy to change the rear / stop bulb in my 13 plate B Max.

Handbook shows a nice picture and instruction to remove the cover plate.

The car hasn't read the book, there is no cover plate.

Can anyone give me some guidance please before I start ripping nice carpet lings off the inside of the boot. Thanks

Easy, there is an acess panel in the fabric trim, its scored so you need to give it a pull down from top edge for it to come away, then the fixing wingbolt device unscrews

I have the same problem with the b max brake bulb change and it certainly isn't easy.  I can't see any access panel on the trim that is scored.   Can anyone else help, it really shouldn't be this hard to change a brake bulb

It is at the top of the carpet trim directly behind the rear lamp, it is scored and pull it quite firmly down,
