Mk2 1.8 Tdci Clutch Pedal Advise?

Featured Replies

Hey guys had my focus ST rep for about 3 months now love the car to bits, my only gripe is the clutch pedal,

I know the clutch is good, good biting point no slip , etc .but when press the clutch there a 1/4 inch or so give or take physical travel in the pedal before you feel the actual clutch.

So my question is can the pedal travel itself be adjusted in any ways ?

Thanks in advance

No its hydraulic and non adjustable

Mines the same as is my mates so id say its normal for the tdci

Mine's the same too, infact I'm starting to get bearing noise

Thanks guys, I'll leave it be then. I was just a little worried having heard that it seems to be a ford Achilles heel clutches, flywheels and bearing. Also my mother had a collapsed flywheel on her c-max. Not the cheapest thing to replace :/
