At last dry weather, fitted my new grills that Santa brought me today, from underground parts.

Really good quality and only £79.99 delivered, also fitted my "S" badge I bought from Aliexpress, £2.75 delivered.

I also fitted my modified radio/cruise control switch also from Aliexpress.

I bought one of these grills for my focus but it dident fit seemed to small :(but yours looks great you jut need to get the fog surrounds done in gloss black now

Yeah will do buddy, only had the car since September, and I'm posting all the mods I'm doing as I'm doing them, only done the grills, full stainless duplex exhaust systems, modified heater controls and a "S" grill badge so far, in the process of fitting cruise control, my mate is coming Saturday to program it, so fingers crossed I will have cruise by Saturday afternoon as well.

Be wise & inform your insurance company of the mods you have made :)

I would recommend wrapping it to, as my sprayed lip has already made impact with a flying stone already, and chipped it :(

No tom, I sprayed it, masked off rubbed down pimmed etc, going to spray my fog surrounds red and my wing mirror cover's gloss black, when the monsoon season finally goes.

Oh right you done a good job with that, surprising how much of a difference it makes. Yeah I recently bought myself some gloss black wing mirrors on eBay. Do you have a black spoiler as well?

Yeah it came with a black rear spoiler and black rear defuser, also came with a strobe and flash 3rd brake light as well, I thought it was a loose wire at first lol

One insurer refused to pay out a claim due to non declared painted brake calipers! They will use any excuse they can find, even more so if its a substantial claim.

I cant remember unfortunately, I was reading about it online a while ago. I told my insurer about my painted calipers and it never increased but at least its documented now.

Well if I do have a prang, I better hope they it the front end and destroy the grills and hope the heater knobs fall off as well :) :)

the code of conduct for insurers states that they can only refuse cover if you deliberately mislead them, if you unintentionally mislead them and either A, your insurer wouldn't normally cover the car, or B the cost of the premium is substantially more.

If your refused cover and it doesn't fit the above then you can take it to the ombudsman.

painted brake calipers shouldn't make any difference so if they refuse you can take it up with them and probably win..

#course its a hassle most of us could do without so telling them is always the best option.
