Ford Focus 2003 Coolant Leak

Featured Replies

My car was started to over heat today, when I looked on the ground I found a small leak coming from under the car. It had no coolant in so I topped it up and found the leak coming from here ( please see pictures )

If anyone has any suggestions I would be greatfull

Thermostat housing leaking more than likely in that area

Would I need to take it to a garage or is that something I could do myself ?

Thank you

what engine is in your car?

1.6 LX

thermostat housing then, known issue, well that what im guessing without actually looking at it, it involves removing alternator belt, alternator, then you can access housing, 2 coolant hoses off, 4 housing bolts.
