Focus Usb - Line In Problem

Featured Replies

Can anyone help please? 2012 Focus quite suddenly doesn't recognise any USB stick and shows 'line-in active'. Tested USB sticks in other devices and OK.

Press your AUX button on your radio?

Thanks for your answer. I've pressed everything including the usual 'aux' button, but the display shows 'line in activated'. Bear in mind this has been working normally for two years.

Cant you switch wether the radio activates either USB or line in in the radio settings?

Try holding aux?

Thanks for looking. When the 'line in activated' message shows, the alternative is 'BT line in'. Both showing on the AUX item on the menu.

i would disconnect battery for 5 mins and see if the bluetooth module resets. i had issues with my sync module not regognising usb at all. sync reset in settings didnt work so disconnected battery for 5mins and it worked again.

Many thanks. I'll give it a try.
