Battery Recommendations 1.8 Tdci

Featured Replies

Looks like my battery is about to give up the ghost anyone got any recommendations for a replacement looks like the original fitted so can't really complain just want to get value for money .

try a good motor factor lot cheaper than main dealers just give them your reg :)

Make sure it's Silver Calcium for the smart charge.

The originals seem to be decent if anyone knows who makes them?

Bosch / Varta are good

I've used Tayna for Varta batteries. Next day delivery, in most cases

you could try euro parts

Show some loyalty and take a trip to Ford stealers,ha ha.

I wouldn't be suprised if either Bosch or Varta or both make & supply batteries to Fraud who then stick a Fraud sticker on them as OEM.

Good quality batteries are easily available at sensible prices & many come with a 5 year guarantee

I went in my local Ford stealers and all the shelves were almost empty,I asked why and apparently customers were going in helping themselves when staff weren't around.

my local dealers never have any staff and the shelf are always bare you wait for ages to be seen and robed ha ha.

Yep,sounds like the same one ha ha,maybe they are all skint because they are so expensive. You would of thought they would of learnt by now.
