Mk1 Stalk Adapter

Featured Replies

Bought and fitted JVC KD-R861BT bluetooth head unit yesterday to replace the old tired out 6000 rds eon on my MK1 02 Focus which has been playing up of late.

Also purchased the fascia adapter and harness adapter lead ( PC2-08-04 ) from Halfords at the same time. Unfortunately I didn't realise at the time a stalk adapter is also needed to enable the stalk controls on the new head unit.

Before I order one from the net can anyone with the same head unit or similar tell me if mobile phone can answer and make calls via one of the Mk1 the Focus stalk control swithches, or does it need a dedicated steering wheel remote?

I see a stalk adapter Autoleads PC99-X07 priced at 20 quid, seems about regular price to others sites unless anyone knows of a cheaper place.

Anyone used Autolead?

Thanks
