Drivers Seat Creaking

Featured Replies

Hi I brought my Ford Focus 1.6 t d c i titanium love the car ,but recently my drivers seat starting creaking as any had this issue if so how can I sort it please ,I've had the car less than a month I'm also taking it back to sandicliffe ford but they told me on the phone they may not do any thing ,is this correct or can any 1 help with the creaking ,

Regards

my passenger seat dos it but stopped all on its own but was going to spray all under the seat with w.d 40

My driver seat creaks on the left, usually when cornerning relatively fast towards the right. I sprayed some WD40 under the seat and along the mounting racks, but it persisted. Perhaps it's something inside the seat itself, or maybe I need to shoot some WD40 deeper down underneath the seat.

I have the same problem with both front seats. Usually when braking but still annoying! I think any solutions would be very welcome here...

Ahh man, was hoping you'd have found a fix haha! Must be a common problem, the last Focus (mk2.5) also had squeaky seats :|

Seat sorted all under warranty

Mine creaks as well, full leathers in a 2.5.  And it can't be my 9 stone being too much for it lol.  I didn't realise it was an actual known problem!

what year is your car?

any info on that recall?

I bet there are a lot of people who don't know this will be repaired for free! So Ford garages will just sort it, minimal questions asked?
