Suitable Battery Charger

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a trickle charger for the battery in a focus mk3 1.6 ecoboost? Is the CTEK MXS 5.0 good for the job? Thanks.

Ctek range of chargers are excellent. Just make sure you buy one suitable for your size (capacity) of battery.

Thanks for the reply mate. Im away atm but was going to pick one of these up on my way home. Apparently these are good for charging batteries of 1.2 110Ah capacity. Whats the likelihood my battery is within that? Cheers.

Ctek do a range of chargers, coping with anything from small motorbike batteries to large car batteries so you'll be in range for one of them.

Your just within range of the Ctek MXS5.0, 1.2-110Ah for charging purposes. Where as the Ctek MXS7.0 will do 14-150Ah.
