ajzetecs
take straight back, that is totally opposite of what a remap surpose to do
Dee_82
Yeah, should be a notably improvement out of the door, did you have the dpf removed as well?

jbeany
Yes had dpf removed and got dpf and egr delete as well as getting remap I went out tonight expecting car to be loads more responsive
Dee_82
First thing to noticed is that first gear is largely redundant and it should pull like a train right through 2-3k, 2.8k delivers about 90mph, if you have an elm 327 device you can use for scan to monitor the car, you might expect about 280Nm of peak torque, 36psi MAP. All in all you should notice it right away, pop it in third and accelerate from 20 to as fast as you can, feel any different?. It'll only be about 130 and that's assuming the engine is in good nick, so don't expect to be rolling wheel to wheel with mercs or anything

jbeany
i dont no what remap it is i was gonna just get dpf and egr delete but was told remap would make car more powerful and have better mpg To be honest i normally look on line before i get anything like this done but didnt bother this time so didnt realise there was different remaps All i no is we had to drop car off at the garage the night before so whoever they got in to do it could check ecu and then they send off some where and get an email back then yesterday he came back and did the actual remap

madmole
Crap remap, probably wrong map for that car. Tell em to sort it before the engine is damaged. The garages problem
TomsFocus
Sounds like you've got a major boost leak... Garage probably broke the boost pipe while removing DPF tbh, either that or didn't tighten the jubilee clips...
jbeany
Cheers for replies Ive just been out and checked boost pipe the one that connects to the metal pipe under the engine cover, the clips were tight and couldnt see damage to pipe The pipe that goes from the mass airflow sensor wasnt clipped together properly so was loose but still in place im going to nip out in a bit and see if that makes any difference
jbeany
Been out in the car and no difference Think i was clutching at straws When dpf was blocked a code came up for that but non of the new codes for low fuel pressure or turbo pressure was in the memory So would this mean these codes are definitely a problem from work that has been done
