Fitting St Recaro Heated Leather

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Looking at fitting some 3-Door heated Recaro seats into my Focus. Two concerns:

1) The airbag looms are different and I can't just swap out

2) The heated seat loom is compulsory and I've got nowhere for it to go

Can anyone mitigate these from my mind please? Pretty sure No.1 is fine however.

James

Hello,

You can swap the Leather Heated seats into any MK2 Focus. The only diffrences are :

If the seat currently in the car don't have side airbags then they will need to be programmed, The heated seat wont work if you dont have slots on the fuse box for the power or you don't have the correct loom.

Parts you need to get the heated elements to work depend on the spec of the car. You will need switches also.

So Get the seats and plug them in the other stuff can be sorted later but disconnect the battery before you do anything for atleast 30 mins or more if you turn the ignition on before removing the battery.
