Urgent Help Elm327 Car Won't Start

In the process of adding cruise to my focus and we had an error message ATL 0 first now we can't write the old PCM file back to car HELP



try disconecting the battery for 30 min make sure you've the radio code

Phew, sorted now, no cruise but my car is running, looks like another faulty ELM327. Looks like I'll have to borrow Lenny's.

you must make sure you follow the steps exactly as it says on elm 327, including the turning off the car for a while, when I did mine I turned the ignition off but didn't take the key out and leave it, just assumed because it wasn't on position 2 it was fine.

it came up with the error, car was dead.

turned car off for a while and did it again, sorted.

what went wrong

Don't know exactly, from what I've read, seems like a dodgy ELM adaptor, kept getting error messages saying "AT L0 error or something like that.

theirs a lot of dodgy ELM around i made my own they work great :)

Darren do you have a copy of the user instructions that came with yours? I just got the cable and driver disc and nothing more when I bought mine.
