Ford Maverick Won't Start

Hi, I have a 2001 ford maverick 3.0 petrol and it will turn over but won't start, it's done 77k miles and was running fine until I friend to start it this morning, it fired and then stopped and now it won't start. I have scanned all systems and I keep getting codes about airbags but I know they were there when it was still running. I've heard the crank sensors and fuel pumps tend to go on these? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
