Looking for parts from part numbers

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I am looking for the following parts to replace my damaged ones but I am struggling to find them based on the part numbers I have been given by the garage and was wondering if anyone can recommend aftermarket (cheaper) replacements:

Injectors RMX S4Q-9F593-TF (my garage is asking about £120 -each-)

I think these are the original Ford part numbers but I am not 100% certain.  Could these be replaced with Delphi injectors (which seem much cheaper) if so do I have to find a specific model of Delphi injector?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

As far as the part number you have, that is what Ford call the BASIC Number.

If you Can PM me the registration or VIN then I should be able to then fine tune the spec relevant to your car and give you the Finis ( Part number ) which is the definitive number for the correct part to suit.

The basic number only narrows the field down to a certain type of part not necessarily the exact one for you.

Example-

MK1 Focus Injector finis.jpg

From your VIN I summise that you have a silver 1.8 Diesel first registered in 2001 in Denmark and the injectors you need are Finis code 1213938.

They are listed at 137.75 Euros and seem to be for a set of 4 but have a 40 Euro surcharge (apparently applied if you don't exchange your current injectors at the same time).

I would double check with a local Ford dealer for prices and exchange deals.

The Finis code is 100% correct for what you need though.

How may I access this tool?

To get access to the Ford parts catalogue you need to install Microcat.

If you run a PC on a 64bit operating system then Microcat needs to be installed within a 32bit environment.

I used VMWate to install XP and installed Microcat there.
