Any of you cam tell me what this switch is for below my heated seat switch,

Thanks guys, when does it work just in bad weather like ice and snow

You can turn it on or off - it does help with traction on wet / slippery / icey / snowy roads when on

Mark I have tried it in the wet but nothing shows up on the dash which I assume it should,

Does the switch not light up when on or off? I would've thought something on the dash would show up.  

Ryan nothing lights up that's why I wondered what the switch was and what its use is,

Maybe the fuse has blown ?

I'm pretty sure there should be a warning light on the dash that illuminates when the traction is off & i think the switch illuminates too - so fuse is the first place to check Ash

Mark iv been informed by another source that the traction control light on the dash flickers when the road surface is bad, eg ice snow, so I'm going to have to wait to see what happens, on the switch there dosent seem to be a light to say whether the traction control is in off or on mode,

 

Forgot to add, my mrs has a 2007 zetec climate, that whats she thinks anyway, now does anyone know if hers is fitted with traction control, she dosent have any switches like mine, but it did say mine the Ghia was a better model lol.
