Heating Recommendations?

Featured Replies

OK so I live in Poland, it is !Removed! cold.  I find my MK1 1.8 TDDi takes an age to heat up (over 15 minutes idle time) and can take a long time to clear the windscreen.  I cannot get a mains powered heater/blower because my car is parked in a car park about 150 yards away from my apartment so I am trying to find out if there is another solution.  I noticed some people talk about electrically heated blowers on some Focuses - I don't think mine has it but is it possible to get one fitted and if so what part do I need?

Failing that does anyone have any other recommendations - I was thinking about a 12v heater but have read some really bad things about them.

Thanks

I had one of the electric heaters that works from the accessory socket and I'm afraid they are useless, just produce a lot of noise and almost no heat.

Doesn't your car have an Aux heater then?
