Driver door handle stiff

Hi. 

The outer door handle on my car is stiff to the point where you almost think the door is locked but opening it from the handle inside it feels perfect. The door opens and closes really easily and you don't have to slam it at all, it's just the pull that's stiff on the outer handle. 

Any ideas?
