I recently bought my Focus 2.5 and it had a broken latch on the box. Rather the cough up for a new lid, and reluctant to take it apart to fit it, I sought an alternative solution. I superglued a 10mm x 5 mm rare earth magnet to the lid and a self tapping screw in the floor below it. Now the lid stays closed. It doesn't go down flush but that means that it can be opened easily. If a countersunk screw is used,it will go flush.
