Charliekeep
Hi I have a ford fiesta ghia 1.4 5d 53 plate and I am wondering if it has a belt or chain and when it will need chaining. It has 70,000 at the moment. Cheers
GingerFlame
Is it a 1.4 petrol? The 1.25 1.4 1.6 petrol duratec 2002-2008 is a timing belt The 1.3 duratect petrol is Chain The diesels are chain I think? Your belt is due 90k or every 10years. So, your belt should have been changed in 2013 www.yorkshiredetailing.co.uk - approved resellers of the Highest quality detailing & Valeting supplies

For the petrol I always tell people 90k as I've had multiple friends who have had tensioners fail at around 90 :) www.yorkshiredetailing.co.uk - approved resellers of the Highest quality detailing & Valeting supplies
