Hey guys, I have a 110ps 1.6 tdci mk2 with a Dpf delete and Egr delete (both removed from Ecu) and I am interested in adding some performance and I think that the base for a few mods would be to increase my intake capacity.

So, what should I be looking for as far as a bigger or better intercooler is concerned, what arey pros ans cons? Cheers

    Ive had mine mapped to 135 hp, with the deletes you have also , k& n element filter , modified st-2 exhaust , and an air tec Intercooler .

    theres a lot more boost & smoother delivery, no flat spot either

    Cheers for that information buddy, do airtec do a straight fit FMIC for the 1.6 or is there a bit of engineering involved?

    I think you can get a straight fit.

    i took mine from a 2.0 tdci focus , (same fittment) 

    & bolted it straight on ,

    looks nice & neat

    Nice, thanks, there is one local from me for sale but it's off a 2.2 ST TDCI Mondeo, doubt it would be the same size or fit haha
