Banks86
Ok so I parked up to go in to my local shop, before hand the radio (DAB) was on working fine. Got back in the car started the engine stereo came on but all I got was a clicking noise from the Speakers, no matter what I pressed on the stereo I still got the same sound. I have video of the sound (not sure how to upload it) all I can say it is like when you press the ignition button on a gas hob and I have attached a photo of the stereo, I have not messed with or modified it in anyway I only got the car on the 31.12.15. So I just turned it off then drove home, when I got home I decided to turn the engine off and back on and it was working fine. Does anyone have any idea what could of happened ? GMX
Sounds like you were in a DAB blackspot were the signal couldn't be received, or something else was interfering with the signal. That's the odd thing with DAB, you can either get a signal or you can't. Whereas with FM/AM, even when the signal was poor, you can still receive it however badly with lots of static noise
Banks86
Well that's the problem I changed it to FM, CD and USB still got the same noise. If it keeps happening I will have to take it back to Ford.
