Trev1969
Hi I just wondered if my drivers seat on my focus 1.6 tdci 2010 was ok .i had the seat pad replaced unde warranty ,when I now sit in the seat you tend to sink to the back of the seat I took car back and was told this was normal as they call it a submarine seat IE the seat holds you firm in an accident ,does this make sense to you ,it's a strange feeling you sit in seat and the back of the seat pad kind of sinks /sags to the back yes I do feel like I'm being hugged I just wondered if this was correct with others with same car , regards
artscot79
To be honest I cant say I've ever noticed I cant say that when I sit in the seat it sinks back that much that I've asked this question http://www.carwale.com/m/forums/3329-anti-submarine-seats.html they are anti submarine seats designed to stop you sliding above explains better than I can

yossi
Why did you have the seat pad replaced under warranty?
