mk2 focus common water leak

Featured Replies

hey guys as title suggests, I have a 55 plate focus and just wondering what window jets people have swapped to so the they no longer leak? i know this might sound really stupid but i just dont want to go out and buy a set from ebay and they are useless. probably been answered a 1000 times but if someone could link me up with what they have went for it would be much appreciated.

They all leak even the revised ones in order to prevent them leaking I removed them and sepersted the rubber washer from the jet I then smeared some marine sealant round the area that joins to the washer jet base and refitted the washer then on the underside around the cut out in the bonnet and refitted then sealed under the bonnet no leaks in years
