2010 Ford Focus - popping / crackling when streaming music over bluetooth

Featured Replies

Hi all,

My Ford Focus from 2010 works very well with my iPhone etc, but when I stream music over Bluetooth from any source, it crackles and pops. At the moment I've connected it via the 3.5mm jack because it's so bad.
I can't find any information about any potential software upgrade to the system, and I think it's before the Sync standards were put in. I've tried Ford support on Twitter, but they've so far not been able to help.

Any info gratefully received.

thanks!
Mark
