Just another MK2 leaking topic

Featured Replies

First of all, sorry for my avarage english.

As u can assume from the topic name, I have some leaking problems.

I'm driving 07' Focus SW 1.6tdci.

The part is, I know how to solve my problem, read most of the topics on several forums and seen few videos, but I don't want to rush in it half blinded.

The thing is, I'm not really sure how to remove aluminum batten on the roof (for the roof rack), couldn't find ppl with it. I assume it has to be unscrewed from the inside?

Batten both ends have sort of plastic 'cap' that can be removed. Tried to remove them, but it gave me hard time since they give me feeling I'll break them.

Here's couple of images showing what kind of batten my car have.

Hope so u'll get me some answers.TY
