Which oil for Focus 2009 1800 ? petrol

Featured Replies

Hi

I am trying to find out what Engine oil my Focus uses

I read the manual but it doesn't say (my first car that its not listed in the manual), also checked the service book, not there either

As I have a friend at work, that has 5L of 10w/40 part synthetic if it ok for my car

thanks

5W30 fully synthetic Castrol Magnatec is recommended.

You need about 4 1/2 litres.

Shell or Castrol ?

Euro car parts are doing Shell, 5L Ultra Professional grade for £20 instead of £45 at the moment

Ford recommend Castrol but as long as it's the right grade then all's fine.
