First of all , Thanks for adding me to the group ..

Was due to have my steering pump replaced this week , due to a nasty leak , However the belt snapped on Thursday just gone , and The AA reckon the remnants of the broken belt  got lodged in the timing belt for a split second, knocking it out of sync , There is no compression now, The timing belt is still in place.

Your thoughts on whether the engine is now a piece of scrap gladly invited
