2014 Ecoboost Airbag Light Issue

Featured Replies

Hi all, I've recently had an issue with my 2014 Ford Fiesta Ecoboost where the airbag light appears on the dash when i start my car and stays on. After looking online I moved my passenger seat back and the light went off for a day but is now back on after my friend sat in the passenger seat and won't go off whether i move it or not. I learned of a fix online where you can unhook some cables under the seat and reattach them that should fix this but I can't seem to find them so any help would be great. Thanks

if its a 2014, its under warranty, take it back to a dealer and have them resolve the issue, that suggests one of the airbag circuits is running too low or high resistance and is not connected to the circuit properly.
