Fiesta MK6 53 Plate Aux mod

Featured Replies

I Recently purchased a 2003 ford fiesta finesse and love it!

I'd like to plug my ipod into the stereo but im struggling to find a solution.

Is there a way to plug an aux cable into the back of the radio and be able to control volume etc on the radio? theres no aux button on the radio.

Thanks

Declan

Nope unless you want to take it apart do tons of wire testing finding out where audio out is etc etc etc then solder wires and resistors and jacks and drilling holes. To much effort and expensive :) purchase one of these things. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Transmitter-AVANTEK-Universal-Wireless-Supports/dp/B010XJVUE2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1463782712&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=fm+transmitter&psc=1

(just an example)

You put it in the cigarette lighter set your radio to a frequency unused by any radio say 88.9Mhz. set the transmitter to the same frequency, connect phone via bluetooth or AUX (the one above has AUX) and magic happens. Your music is playing other the radio using your frequency in the car.

Hope this helps and enjoy the music. P.S I own a Zetec 03 MK6 and this is best method i found before replacing radio.

Cheers

Ryan
