Fiesta Engine Light

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have a Ford Firsta 1.4 LX Auto 2004.

I started the car the other day to find my engine light was on, everything felt fine with the car to start with until I noticed there was no "auto acceleration". I'm not sure of the actual term for this.

As some of you will know, when you pull upto lights or come to park and your in "Drive/Reverse and take your foot off the brake the car will automatically start moving without touching the accelerator.

As of this engine light the car has stopped doing this and when I take my foot off the brake it doesn't move apart from when I touch the accelerator which can be a little awkward.

Is there anybody that has any idea what this might be? Sensor? Gearbox? I have no idea!

Any help would be great! Thanks
