New Clutch?

Featured Replies

I have a Ford Focus zetec climate 2006 turbo 1.8. I'm a young female driver dads away and I'm clueless about cars. When idle and clutch is released they is a small noise from bonnet like a knocking noise and a slight rattle vibration feeling but when I press clutch fully down it stops only when engine on parked up and clutch released that it does it . Is this a sign of a new clutch ?

It could be the first signs of the Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF) failing. How many miles has it done? I presume it's a 1.8 diesel? Still on the original clutch?
