Clutch issues

Featured Replies

I've got a 2012 Fiesta Titanium. Since i have had it the clutch has been stiff/hard to the extent that it feels like it is going to pop through my foot when using clutch control in a queue of traffic! It's really hard to keep it down for long. Has anyone else had this problem and any ideas how to fix it?

I bought a 1 year warranty when i bought the car last year that has about 1 month left on it but not sure if this is something they could fix or if they will just fob me off. Wearing sandals or flimsy shoes makes for a painful drive.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you might have a problem with the clutch pressure plate.

heavy pedal normally means the clutch friction plate is worn, but not to the extent of slipping , unfortunatly warranty wont cover wear and tear if that is the case.
