1.6 mk7 Zetec S - 60k - what needs doing?

Featured Replies

Hi

Any ideas what needs doing at 60k? It was last serviced in the 40k area.

Any info on what needs changing?

Many thanks! The Ford site doesn't really help.

I'm thinking all filters, brake fluid and sparks but sure I'm missing something!

I've just serviced mine at 47k think it was... I did a full service, // brake fluid, sparks, oil filter, air filter, oil change, I also did a coolant change (was just me that). If you're doing it yourself, then go for a full service, least then you know what's been done (I might get slated for that).

I'd swap the pollen filter while you're at it too.

Thanks for the info.

It's got all stamps so far so I'm in two minds but I'm more than capable of a service and can stamp it as being self serviced.

As long as I keep the receipts it shouldn't  make too much difference plus it's a 60 plate so not exactly in warranty.
