A bit of an odd one!

Featured Replies

So I was getting something out of the back of the car yesterday and noticed this gap in the seats.  I've had the car from new for the last 8 months and I've never noticed it before.  Because it's not something I look at usually, I know it's not right...but I can't figure out what's wrong and therefore don't know how to fix it.  If anyone could advise or post pictures of how their's look so I can attempt to put it right that would be great.  I could live with it, but it bugs me and I have no idea how it's happened or even what's happened!  I've attached more images of different angles.

Have you tried moving that pin in its sleeve? Looks like it's shifted itself

  • Author

Yep, that's the first thing I thought it could be but everything is solid - nothing slides or looks like it moves, I even tried a little force with a screwdriver but nothing.

looks like its had something in the boot thats moved?

should be able to be pushed back though

I've tried, neither side shows any sign of movement - even when I tried to pry with a screwdriver.  It's got me completely beat - on the pictures you would just think you just slide it back into place and it'll lock back together, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

If someone could show me how it's supposed to look it might help.
