Fiesta Ecoboost Flutter

Featured Replies

Hello

The other day, when I was at Goodwood for a car show, I was just parking my car and another ecoboost turned up and each time he/she put their foot on the accelerator then eased off, there was a flutter sound.

Does anyone know how this is done? I suppose a better air intake,  but was it a dump valve?

Cheers!

Probably the induction kit, a while back people were folding one of the tubes from the turbo using a cable tie, this increased the flutter noise as the recirc valve was sort of bypassed.

Oh right,  but can that do the turbo any damage?

Get an ITG induction kit and you'll hear flutter all day.
