Mk 7.5 Rear Diffuser on Fiesta Metal

Featured Replies

I have a black ford fiesta metal with the standard rear diffuser which is a grey plastic like the first image.

I wan't to upgrade this for a better looking rear diffuser so I can achieve the 'blackout' look for the car. I like the look of the rear diffuser on the mk7.5 in the second image but im not sure if it will fit on the metal.

Has anyone done this, know if it is possible or upgraded the rear diffuser on their fiesta metal. I'm open to ideas if anyone has done similar.

It is possible and a strait swap. However you will need to swap the corner pieces to the MK7.5 ones.

I've been browsing at bits for mine too and found that Sico Developments list the rear diffuser and corner pieces as a set if that's any help to you?

As said above should be a straight swap.

Surprisingly Ford sell them too.

I didn't realise they were that cheap! I know what my next purchase will be! :D

Thanks for that. Looks easy enough.

I've got the parking sensors in the centre of my existing diffuser. How easy will it be to get these moved over?

Don't want to commit to it if the hassle of sorting the parking sensors takes hours.

The parking sensors shouldn't effect changing the diffuser over

They will look odd in the honeycomb section, if there's enough cable on them they could be moved up into the bumper which is the factory position on the ST but, they would need painting.
