How many interior bulbs do you have? Footwell lights?

 

i currently sell mk7 interior kits and am now looking to sell mk6. 

 

Just wondering what the most common interior setup is

Only one interior bulb on my mk6 and no footwell lights, same on my sons mk6 facelift.

Thanks! Take it there's no glovebox light?

No glovebox light and yes there is a boot light.

I've been looking into setting up some subtle 'ambient' interior lighting, a bit like the Mk7s. Was hoping for maybe just some dim lighting in footwells, but everything online seems to suggest wiring them into the interior light, however I'd prefer them to be on with the auto headlights? (Rather than just when doors are open/car unlocked). I like the strip the MK7s have near the glovebox but there's not really an appropriate place. Possibly in door pockets!?
