2015 Ford Fiesta - Nothing but problems

Featured Replies

Afternoon all,

I'm now the owner of a Ford Fiesta 2015 plate 1.25 petrol manual.

I am looking for some general advice / support / knowledge if anyone could lend a thought or two.

Faults currently to date.

1. Idling fluctuation on first start on cold mornings. Revs go up and down quite erratically but as Soon as it's warmed up it's fine.

2. (Intermittent issue) when this problem occurs, only the passenger door will lock from fob not the drivers door / boot lid. It says on the dash panel driver door open when its clearly closed and when this problem occurs my electric windows wont work from drivers door and electronic mirrors wont work either.

3.  Since my car went into Ford for an ECU update now when petrol is low there is no warning lights at all.

Any advice or support would be brilliant. I traded in my 2011 plate 1.25 Fiesta for this and I wish I had kept that now, this car has caused nothing but problems.

A 2015 car will still be under Fraud warranty - take it to them.

This was the first thing that I done. It's been in now twice with the problems still remaining, its booked in again.

The purpose of this post is to see if these issues are common to this model / make of car and if so what steps people have taken to get a resolution.

Don't recognise any as common faults.

If you are having trouble getting your dealer to fix it, then try to find a different (hopefully better) dealer.

Any dealer can do warranty work.

The small independents are usually best, rather than the big conglomerates.

Thank you Alex, I was wondering about taking it to another dealer.

I will give this a try if this weeks new booking & visit doesn't resolve the problem.

Thank you for the suggestion.
