I have looked up the paint codes and what it should be but what is on the car is different from the from and on websites my code is 62 but is a 58 plate so I thought my code would be 68 please help

    Nope! The 6 refers to Moondust silver and the two if I remember correctly will be the year identifier for when the colour was introduced (or the shade as I believe there are several shades for that particular colour)

    Ford codes can be a PITA to decipher
