Mk7 - Audio Upgrade

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have had my 2011 Zetec S for about 6 months now and I want to improve my audio setup, I know typical teenager! My budget is around £500-600. I am completely new to this so I need help, I know I definitely want a sub and to upgrade the speakers. What is the best way to go about it?

Thanks!

Is recommend Focal for the door speakers (I had the PS165f in my last car)

Fit a small amp to power them to their full potential.

Then I'd recommend JL audio for a sub if you don't mind loosing bootspace, with a JL amp too.

Alternatively one of the small "underseat" subwoofers would probably do
