Getting rid of Scuff marks on Trim

Featured Replies

I was in a collision in April and ended up with white Scuff marks on my black fog light surrounds.

Does anyone have an tips for getting rid of these marks? I've just been covering it up with Tyre and Trim dressing but once it rains and it washes off it reveals the marks again

First of all, If your trim dressing is washing off when it rains then you need to change your trim dressing as its absolutely appalling.

Secondly, post some pictures of the marks then we can help further

I'm washing the car tomorrow so I'll get a picture then, it's filthy at the moment.

You could probably Guess which Tyre and Trim dressing i'm using based on my topic you saw about my front bumper respray haha

2000 grade wet & dry paper, carefully remove the white marks, then apply 'Black Wax' and rub in like a loony and polish up, do wax the other one to match too.

Or get a new surround :whistling: Personally I'd buy a new surround.

Think this ebay seller sells the surrounds as well as other goodies.
