Ford Fiesta Mk5 Alloys

Featured Replies

Hi, im new to the forum and im not sure how these things work but I'll give it a go! Im new to modding and changing the car and id like to get as much advice as possible :) I currently have a fiesta mk5 (02 plates) and ive attempted to put new alloys on the car which were 16" and were too big. The original wheels are 14" but i was wondering if 15" would fit the car??. Ive have to sell the 16" as they were rubbing against the rear suspension and i dont want this to happen again lol!

Thanks :)

Hi Amie,

Alloys come in different widths and with different offsets (how far the wheel sits away from the hub) so it's more complicated than just the rim size of 15 or 16".  Plus the size of the tyres can be changed for different cars on the same wheel as well.

Easiest thing to do is choose the nicest alloys that would've come a Mk5 Fiesta as standard, maybe from a Zetec S or Ghia, whatever you like.  If they came as standard they'll definitely fit without rubbing.
