Spare wheel

Featured Replies

I have a 2013 titanium using 16" wheels. The car never came with a spare wheel. Would I need a 16" spare or would a 14" or 15" spare be ok to use. I would like a 16" but cannot seem to find one. Any input would be handy, cheers :)

I have the same car on 17s, spare wheel is a 15" spacesaver it's ok because of the larger profile but only 50mph max, hope this helps.

I have the same car and same wheels as you and I have the Ford space saver too.

2014 Tit on 16's. I think the spare is 15".

Looks pretty much like this -

You know we all drive around dragging that spare wheel around for no apparent reason other than if one gets a puncture! This spare wheel adds weight thus does inflict of fuel consumption, I've had our car from 2010 and never had a puncture and I've always said to my self I'll get one of those tiny Ford tyre inflation devices but never have

I like the peace of mind a spare wheel gives though...  If you get a blowout or hit a pothole and dent a rim the tyre can would be absolutely useless.  I'm happy enough with a spacesaver rather than full size spare but wouldn't chose the can myself - and I'm pretty anal about MPG!

You know it never entered my head about a blow out or smashed rim!!! I'll now stick with my space saver too.
