Hi,

My daughter's 2007 Fiesta Studio 5 door has a problem with the driver's door window. Occasionally the window winder handle just rotates freely without moving the glass up and down. After some backwards and forwarding it seems to reconnect and works normally? When the glass is down if it is gripped and moved it is possible to lift the rear edge up and down; the front edge seems to be fixed solidly?

Before I strip off the interior door trim has anybody any ideas on what the problem is? The winder unit seems to work ok when it connects. Is there anything I am likely to need when I have it opened up? If possible I don't want to have to take it all apart twice :happy:

    i have same issue looking into it metal shaft where winder coonects is very worn dont know if thats a replacable part or whole thing job
