At the moment when the car unlocks, the sidelights come on. I wanted to know has anyone also made the fog lights come on too. What I don't want to do is connect the fog lights cable to the sidelight cable...rather have another way round if possible?

    If you connected the sidelight cable to the Foglight, they would come on all the time with your headlights instead of your sidelights and dazzle everyone.

    Chances are you'd also overload the sidelight circuit.

    I don't personally know why you'd want the foglights to come on... As they'd dazzle you at night whilst walking to the car... Headlights as coming home lights I could understand.

    Your best bet is to wire it with relays etc so it works when you want it to.
